Collection of three original Prince guitar picks, all personally used by Prince himself. This collection includes two pearloid picks with a purple “Love Symbol” Prince used as a name from 1993 to 2000, and one white pick with “Love God” printed in the style of Prince’s handwriting.
The “Love God” guitar pick was obtained from Prince at his Glam Slam nightclub in Minneapolis on January 6, 1991. In this performance, Prince debuted his new band, The New Power Generation, with guest performer George Clinton.
One pearloid pick was obtained from Prince at the Club Black nightclub in New York on March 16, 2004. On this night, Prince performed ‘Nothing Compares 2 U,’ ‘Kiss,’ and instrumental versions of ‘A Love Bizarre’ and ‘The Glamorous Life.’
The second pearloid pick was obtained from Prince at Webster Hall in New York on April 20, 2004, during a special concert recorded for television and later broadcasted on MTV. This set included an awesome acoustic set, featuring Chaka Khan's ‘Sweet Thing,’ an emotional version of ‘Sometimes It Snows in April,’ and a rare performance of ‘Dear Mr. Man.’ In overall fine condition; these three guitar picks exhibit excellent signs of use.
