Two ultra-rare color Prince concert posters, which were sold exclusively during Prince's 1999 Tour from November 1982 to April 1983; both early PRN Productions posters were purchased at Prince's performance in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on November 11, 1982. The first poster, 26.25 x 26.5, shows Prince naked on a bed, wearing only black gloves and a strategically placed bedsheet, with a neon sign and two windows in the background; this mesmerizing image depicts Prince at his absolute finest during the early 1980s. The second poster, 26.5 x 30.75, portrays Prince wearing a purple jacket, black shirt, and red pants, with two windows in the background: one depicting clouds in the daytime, the other the moon and stars at night. The image is extraordinary, with Prince as his iconic self, immediately before he became a mega-superstar with the release of Purple Rain two years later. Both images were taken by noted Prince photographer Allen Beaulieu, whose name appears on the edge of both posters. Both are rolled and in overall fine condition, with the poster colors remaining vibrant and their corners pristine and free of any pin holes or tape residue. These two rare items have been carefully preserved for the past 40+ years by an early collector who attended this concert.
