UK 45 RPM record of the 1986 Paul McCartney single ‘Pretty Little Head,’ signed on the front cover in blue ballpoint by Paul McCartney. The consignor notes that the signature was obtained outside McCartney’s MPL offices in London in either 1986 or 1987. In very fine condition. The record is not included. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks and a letter of provenance from the original recipient, which reads, in part: “In the eighties, I went several times to London; the intention was to meet Paul at MPL, his business office on Soho square, and get his autograph in person. On June 16th, 1986 I succeeded and met Paul for the first time, two days before his 44th birthday. The second time was on June 19th, 1987, one day after his 45th birthday. Then again, I got a few autographs from him.”
