Impressive original 14.25 x 10.75 photographic print of Auguste Rodin’s 1885 bronze sculpture ‘Daphnis et Lycénion [Daphnis and Lykainion,]’ a piece inspired by the ancient Greek novel Daphnis and Chloe, the only known work of the second-century AD writer Longus, signed neatly in the lower right in ink, “Rodin.” In fine condition, with a stain in the bottom border, and a few very short edge tears.
