Description

American aerospace engineer and an aviation/space pioneer (1913-2000) who was the first director of NASA's Manned Spacecraft Center, which was later renamed the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center. Vintage official glossy 7.75 x 10 NASA photo of the director of the NASA-Manned Spacecraft Center, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "To John Davis, with high regards, Robert R. Gilruth.” Reverse bears a NASA caption text and an affixed JSA label. In fine condition. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from JSA.
