Official color glossy 9.5 x 7.25 NASA photo of the Apollo 13 crew posing with a lunar globe against a celestial backdrop, signed in black felt tip by James Lovell, Jack Swigert, and Fred Haise, with an unknown hand adding the inscription, "To: Gen. Mike Dunn, Best wishes, from Apollo 13.” The reverse, which contains remnants of a magnetic photo album page, bears "A Kodak Paper" watermarks. In fine condition, with trimmed edges, a crease near the right edge, and a few small emulsion blemishes. Because of the last-minute change to the crew—due to illness, Ken Mattingly was swapped out for Jack Swigert three days before launch—this crew photo was taken only after the completion of their lunar landing abort mission in April 1970. Fully signed examples of this official Apollo 13 portrait are extremely difficult to find.
