From the PRN wardrobe department — a 13-piece garment pattern for short and long versions of an ‘English Eccentrics’ dress shirt worn by Prince during the 1990 Nude Tour. The sheets range in size from 10 x 5.5 to 20.5 x 27 and contain detailed measurements and sewing patterns, elements necessary to reproduce a shirt at Prince’s exact size. Annotated in pencil and felt tip, the sheets are dated between March and May 1990, and read, in part: “PRN Dress Shirt Long Version ENG ECC,” “PRN Short Dress Shirt Full Sleeve,” “Cuff w/o seam allowance,” and “PRN Dress Shirt Sleeve Version 2.” In overall fine condition, with some folds and small edge tears. In the early 1990s, Prince's wardrobe staff scouted all over Europe for great fabrics to be proposed to Prince; after a trip to the UK, several 'English Eccentrics' shirts were presented to him for review and approval. These English Eccentrics patterns became one of Prince's iconic looks of the period. A unique opportunity to recreate a dress shirt with Prince’s exact measurements.
