Vintage matte-finish 9.25 x 10.75 portrait photo of Herbert by the White Studio of New York, signed and inscribed in the upper border in fountain pen, "To John L. Horgan, my amiable Hibernian host, with all good wishes!…Victor Herbert, Febr. 1918," who to the upper left adds three bars of music from his opera "Eileen," with lyrics added below, "Tis a great day tonight for the Irish!” In fine condition.
