Vintage ballpoint signatures of the Beatles — John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr — on the reverse of an off-white 7.75 x 6.25 police traffic stop report sheet; an unknown hand has added “Beatles” to the center. In very good to fine condition, with intersecting folds, scattered stains, and light show-through behind Harrison's first name from old tape on the back. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks. The consignor notes: “These autographs were obtained on November 23, 1963, when The Beatles played at the City Hall in Newcastle upon Tyne. They are written on the reverse of a police charge sheet. PC326 Harry Peart of Newcastle City Police (now Northumbria Police) who was the Chief Constable's driver at the time, was given the task of driving the band from the venue to their hotel in a Black Mariah police van.”
