Two pairs of gold-tone metal 'Diamonds and Pearls' cufflinks: the "Diamonds" cufflinks measure 2.5″ long and the "Pearls" cufflinks measure 1.75″ long. Include their original boxes with holographic images that match the front cover of Prince’s associated 1991 album; the two women in the image with Prince, Lori Werner (Elle), and Robia LaMorte, were dancers known as ‘Diamond’ and ‘Pearl.’ In overall fine condition, with some light wear to the boxes.
'Diamonds and Pearls,' the title track of Prince's 1991 studio album, was released as a single on November 25, 1991, and rocketed up the charts to peak at number three on the Billboard 200. Prince is seen wearing this type of cufflink in the classic 'Diamonds and Pearls' music video.
