King Edward VIII appoints Charles Edwin Leats as a “Commissioned Engineer in His Majesty’s Fleet.” Signed nicely in the upper left corner by the king and countersigned by Royal Navy officers Martin Dunbar-Nasmith and Percy Noble. In very good to fine condition, with faint toning, light creasing, staple holes, and intersecting folds.
