TLS, one page, 7.25 x 10.5, personal letterhead, July 1, 1941. Letter to Susanna Moyer, in part: "Happy to have your letter and to know you enjoyed 'Rollin' Home to Texas' so much. 'The Pioneers' was my last picture for Monogram. Right after it was completed, I signed a contract with Columbia Studios to be co-starred in a series with Bill Elliott. Our first was: 'The King of Dodge City' and the second, which we are working on now: 'Roaring Frontiers.' Hope you will enjoy them as much as the others you have seen." In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope.
