Personal check, 6.25 x 2.75, filled out and signed by Norman Rockwell, payable to elementary school student Eddie Locke for $10, March 21, 1959. Endorsed on the reverse by Locke and his parents. In fine condition. Encapsulated in a PSA/DNA authentication holder. Eight-year-old Eddie Locke was a third-grader at the Plain School in Stockbridge when Norman Rockwell chose him as the subject model for his beloved 1958 painting The Runaway. Included with the check is a color 12 x 15 print of the work, which is signed in felt tip by Locke.
