Description

Vintage circa 1951 ‘Souvenir Program’ from the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee, 12 pages, 8.25 x 10.5, featuring information pages and images for artists like Hank Williams and his horse ‘Hi-Life,’ Annie Lou and Danny, Stringbean, Carl Smith, and more, signed on the back cover in ink, “Best wishes, Hank Williams.” The cover is also signed in pencil by Don Helms and Sammy Pruett, members of Williams’s backing band, Drifting Cowboys, opening act Bill Lister, and Columbia Records country artist Billy Starr. In very good condition, with overall creasing and handling wear, light dampstaining, and minor smudging to Williams's signature.
