Historic beige 1.25″ x .5″ segment of wing fabric from the Wright Flyer, flown as part of mankind's first successful powered flight at Kitty Hawk on December 17, 1903. Certified and encapsulated by CAG, with the label reading: "Wright Flyer Wing Fabric, Kitty Hawk Flown, 12/17/1903, Ex: Otto Kallir Collection." In fine condition, with a tiny hole at the bottom. Aviation history collector Otto Kallir is known to have acquired the Wright Flyer-flown material from Lester Gardner, who had received it from Orville Wright's estate.
