Collection of artifacts from the Pacific Theater of World War II, displayed in a 14.25 x 20.25 Riker box. Includes: a green fragment attributed to the aluminum fuselage of a Japanese bomber shot down over Guadalcanal, hand-etched by the soldier who recovered it: "L. N. King, 1st Lt. D.E….Mitsubishi 97 Shot Down 3:00 PM, 6/16/43, over our area on Guadalcanal"; an unopened pack of Japanese kamikaze pilot cigarettes; and a Japanese rice bag. In overall fine condition.
