I heartily thank you for the interest which you take in the continued improvement of my health, of which my expectations are not sanguine, and which which the summer heats, somewhat interfere. In return, I sincerely hope, that you are successful, in your new undertakings at Pittsburgh, and with my kindest regards to Mrs. Brooks. I pray for long life and prosperity to you both. I am very respectfully, your friend, and obed't servant." In fine condition.
