Description

Business executive and politician (1779-1860) who founded the insurance company Aetna, considered to be the 'father' of American life insurance. Partly-printed DS, signed “T. K. Brace,” one page, 6.75 x 3, April 29, 1834. Aetna Insurance Office receipt for a $9 premium on a $1200 life insurance policy, good for the term of one year. Signed at the conclusion by Brace as the company's president. In fine condition.
