(Walt Disney Studios, 1940) Original production drawing of Pinocchio from the film of the same name, which shows the title character underwater, with donkey ears and his tail tied to a rock, as he tries to find his father Geppetto, who is living inside the huge sperm whale Monstro. Accomplished in graphite and colored pencil on untrimmed 12 x 10 animation paper, the lower right corner of which is marked "SW, C-79," and the lower left corner is stamped "Prod. 2003, Seq. 10, Scene 7.1." The Pinocchio measures 6 x 3 and is surrounded by bubble effects. In fine condition, with a couple light stains, and wear to the edges, most noticeably to the bottom.
