(Walt Disney Studios, 1939) Original production cels featuring Donald Duck and his nephews from The Hockey Champ, showing Donald teaching Huey, Dewey, and Louie how to skate, shoot, and handle the puck. The cels have been trimmed and applied to an airbrushed background as prepared by Courvoisier Galleries for sale. Images measure 3 x 4 (Donald) and 3 x 4.25 (nephews), with a mat opening of 9.5 x 7.75. Nicely framed to an overall size of 19 x 18. In fine condition, with a bit of lifting and loss to paint (most noticeably to the green band on one of the hockey sticks). A great Couvoisier set-up in its original mat.
