Scarce original circa 1960s placemat from Aunt Jemima's Kitchen at Disneyland, 14 x 10, featuring several blurbs about the history of Aunt Jemima and advertising her Disneyland restaurant: "When she's not lending a hand with Pancake Festivals, Aunt Jemima is 'at home' in 'Aunt Jemima's Kitchen' in Disneyland. In a gracious Old South setting, she welcomes you, serves her famous pancakes, and sends you on your way with a cheerful 'You all come back!'" In very good to fine condition, with light toning and creasing, intersecting folds, and some trivial paper loss. Located in Disneyland's 'Frontierland,' Aunt Jemima’s Pancake House opened in 1955 with a menu comprised mostly of breakfast foods. It was renamed Aunt Jemima’s Kitchen in 1962, offering an expanded menu. A unique relic from the now-extinct breakfast brand.
