Impressive hand-made stained glass hanging artwork by artist Andrew D Gore, entitled ‘Kurt,’ created as part of his stained glass art series 'Church of Punk Rock,' which features a design inspired by grunge rock heroes Nirvana. The artwork measures 26 x 14 and contains numerous soldered pieces of multicolored glass that show a floating ‘Nevermind’ baby and frontman Kurt Cobain crowd-surfing while he plays the guitar; the latter is an image captured when the band rocked the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, Canada on March 8, 1991. The shoulder sections feature hoops for hanging and the lower right frame corner bears the artist’s etched signature, “Andrew D Gore.” In fine condition.
