Vintage glossy 7.5 x 10 publicity photo of Katharine Hepburn in a startled half-length pose, signed in fountain pen. Collector's notations to the lower border date the autograph to a production of Without Love at the Hanna Theatre in May 1942. In very good to fine condition, with light creases, trimmed edges, and overall mottled staining affecting appearance. Hepburn starred in the original Philip Barry stage play Without Love, which debuted on Broadway at the St. James Theatre in 1942. When the production was adapted for the screen three years later, Hepburn reprised her role as Jamie Rowan, this time opposite familiar costar Spencer Tracy.
