Description

Collection of nine screen-printed apparel (eight t-shirts and one apron) made by artist Andy Gore, a close friend of the Ramones who supplied the band with many of the shirts that they wore on stage during their legendary career. The shirts range in size from S to XXXXL and contain designs related to sideshow performers/freaks (Johnny Eck, “The Half-Boy, 1911-1991,” and Jo-Jo “The Dog-Faced Boy”), cult movies (The Last House on the Left and She-Devils on Wheels), serial killers/psychopaths (Charles Manson, “Don’t Fuck with Chuck!,” and Ed Gein (a “The Original Wisconsin Cannibal” apron), and three shirts with anti-hippie or anti-Grateful Dead designs (“I Am So Grateful Jerry Is Dead” (2) and “I’ll Be Grateful When Jerry’s Dead”). In overall fine condition.

From the PuNk Rock Archives of Andrew D Gore.
