DS, one page, 8.5 x 11, early 1980s. Final page of a Screen Actors Guild ‘Minimum Free Lance Contract’ for Nicolas Cage, who agrees to a salary of $50,100. Signed at the conclusion in black ballpoint by Cage, and countersigned by Oscar-winning producer Barrie M. Osborne. In fine condition. This contract likely relates to either the 1984 film The Cotton Club or the 1986 film Peggy Sue Got Married, which both starred Cage and were produced by Osborne. They later worked together on the 1997 John Woo action film Face/Off, but Cage’s salary was assuredly much higher by that point.
