Description

TLS as president signed “Jerry Ford,” one page, 7 x 10.5, White House letterhead, July 22, 1976. Letter to Herman Baadke, in part: "I hope it will be possible to arrange a mutually satisfactory time for Ambassador Cooper to address the Grand Rapids World Affairs Council. His letter to you indicates that he wants to do this and his credentials in foreign affairs are exceedingly good. I have noted his offer to be a reference for you in the field of international relations. It was kind and thoughtful of you to write to Senator Goldwater following his announcements of his endorsement of my candidacy.” In fine condition, with a rusty paperclip impression to the top edge, and three file holes to the left side. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope.
