Two items attested to as being flown during the Apollo 13 mission:
Five small swatches of Kapton foil removed from the Apollo 13 Command Module Odyssey, measuring 1.25″ x 1.25″ together, affixed to a color 8.5 x 11 certificate authenticity signed and prepared by Sandy Clarkson of The Right Stuff Space. The certificate is also signed in black ink by Apollo 13 astronaut Fred Haise, who adds “Apollo 13 LMP” and “It was a great insulator as Odyssey was still cold at splashdown!”
A color 8.5 x 11 certificate of authenticity for the “Apollo 13 Flown ALSEP Pen,” which is prepared and signed by aerospace memorabilia specialist Ken Havekotte and states: “The signature below was written with the Fisher Space Pen and the original ink cartridge from Kennedy Space Center that was flown on Apollo 13 as described in the letter.” Havekotte signs below using the aforementioned ‘flown’ pen and adds to the right: “This ink flown to the Moon onboard Apollo 13.” In overall fine condition.
