Description

Small 1″ x 1″ piece of rusted metal fragment attested to as being removed from a flown-captured German V-2 rocket that was test-launched in 1946 from the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico. The metal fragment is affixed to a signed certificate of authenticity from Havekotte, who states: “The recovered small metal fragment was cut, as authorized, from a larger section of the V-2’s tail fin assembly while on display at an aerospace museum in Lac Cruces, NM. The authentic V-2 relic was presented to Ken Havekotte, owner of SpaceCoast Cover Service on Merritt Island, FL, in commemoration of Bumper 8’s golden anniversary of the first rocket launch from Cape Canaveral.” In fine condition.
