Color satin-finish 16.5 x 20.25 photo of the launch of the STS-41-B mission on February 3, 1984, signed in black felt tip, “Bruce McCandless II, STS 41-B.” In fine condition, with scattered small surface creases. This STS-41-B mission marked the first checkout of the MMU and Manipulator Foot Restraint. McCandless made the first untethered free flight on each of the two MMUs carried on board, thereby becoming the first person to make an untethered spacewalk.
