From the family collection of moonwalker Alan Bean—an uncommon Skylab 3 (SLM-2) decal featuring the alternative 'wives' mission emblem, substituting the Leonardo da Vinci-inspired central figure with a 'universal' female body, and replacing the astronaut names with those of their wives. Numbered “1118” in the upper left corner, the 4 x 4 decal is signed in ink by the wives of the Skylab 3 astronauts—Sue Bean, Helen-Mary Garriott, and Gratia Lousma—as well as by the emblem's creators, Ardis Shanks and Jacques Tiziou, with all signing first name only. The reverse is annotated by Bean: “From my personal collection, Sue Bean.” Also includes a blue 8 x 10 sheet with affixed Skylab 2 decals, signed and inscribed in black ink by Jacques Tiziou. In overall fine condition. Accompanied by a photo of Alan Bean holding the signed “1118” decal.
