Two TLSs signed "Jerry Ford," each one page, 6.25 x 8.5, dated 1990 and 2000. The first, written shortly after having knee replacement surgery, in part: "Thanks so much for your kindness in remembering me when I had my surgery. I am deeply grateful for your thoughtfulness. My doctor is very pleased with the surgery. The 'rehab' is tough, but essential. I'm a bit impatient that I have a couple of more weeks before 'all is well.'" The second, in part: "Betty and I thank you for sending one of the Ford's Christmas cards of a few years ago. We are most grateful. The card brought back great memories of our days in Alexandria, VA, and my early time in Congress." In overall fine condition.
