The State Banking Company of Gainesville check, 6.25 x 3, filled out and signed by James Longstreet, payable to George W. Walker for $8.80, January 3, 1899. The check bears an affixed 2-cent stamp marked "J L, 1/3/99." In fine condition, with a few vertical folds.
