Original crew jacket from the production of David Lynch’s 1986 neo-noir thriller Blue Velvet. The black corduroy zippered jacket, no size (likely small or medium), features a knit collar, cuffs, and waistband, and blue stitching to the left chest, “Robert, Film Crew 85,” and to the back area, “Blue Velvet, It’s a strange world.” The interior is composed of blue fabric and the collar area retains its “Uniforms by James & Son” manufacturing label. In very good to fine condition, with two tears to the right-side pocket, and noticeable wear and tears to the inner liner.
Originates from the personal collection of Gail Kearns, who worked as a production supervisor on Blue Velvet. The name "Robert" refers to Kearns' brother, who served as a production assistant on the film.
