Unsigned partial handwritten letter by Alfred Lord Tennyson, one page, 4.25 x 2.5, no date. The celebrated poet writes concerning the release of a work, evidently to an American publisher. In part: "If I should publish next year I will take care that the sheets are forwarded to you in due time for a simultaneous publication on your side of the water. My wife desires me to thank you for the very pretty edition of my poems which you sent her. Are you aware that it is not according to the last English edition?" Affixed to a larger engraved portrait and in very good to fine condition, with a couple rusty paperclip marks to the left side.
