Interesting collection of three items signed by First Lady Frances Cleveland: a 5 x 7 mounted photograph by C. M. Bell, signed in ink, "Frances F. Cleveland, 1894"; a 16-cent 'Special Delivery' stamp block, signed in ink, "Frances F. Cleveland Preston"; and a TLS signed "Frances F. Cleveland Preston," one page, 5.25 x 6.75, Westland letterhead, May 1, 1936, in part: "I quite sympathize with you in your interest in your boy's stamp collection, and I am very glad to sign those you sent me for the purpose. I am sorry that I do not feel I can sign them Mrs. Grover Cleveland, but I have signed them with my present name which includes the Cleveland name." In very good to fine condition, with edge toning to the letter, and soiling and scuffing to the trimmed photo.
