ALS, two pages on two adjoining sheets, 5.25 x 7.25, Satchmo letterhead, September 8, 1950. Handwritten letter to Rachel Lambrecht, in part: "I am just taking a chance on writing you this letter. Because I have written you several times and yet, I don't get no answer from you. I thought maybe you had moved from the address you gave me when I was there. I would like to get Wiggin's address. Will you please send it to me? I shall never forget the swell time in all my life, that I had with you and Wiggins. I think we will be back into Paris real soon. I hope to see you when we get there." In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, addressed in Armstrong's hand.
