(Walt Disney Studios, 1996) Original production cel of King Louie from ‘A Night in the Wasteland,’ the first episode of the first season of Disney's Jungle Cubs, which originally aired on October 5, 1996. The cel shows Louie as a young orangutan relaxing on a stone throne with his arms behind his head. The cel is placed on a matching Disney litho background. Image measures 4.75 x 3.5, with a mat opening of 11 x 8. The piece has the silver Walt Disney Television seal to lower right, which is also stamped, “Show 1, Scene 86.” Housed in its original Walt Disney Television Animation Art presentation envelope, with label to reverse marked “23-JUN-100.” In fine, still-sealed condition. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Disney Enterprises.
