Very rare gold-plated and enameled badge from the 40th International Olympic Committee session held in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1947, measuring 21 mm in diameter, featuring the colorful Olympic rings over white enamel, bordered by the text: "Comité International Olympique Stockholm 1947." Only 28 IOC members attended this session, just the second held after the close of World War II. Oslo was selected as host for the 1952 Winter Olympics, and Helsinki was named host of the 1952 Summer Olympics.
