Description

Writer and newspaperman (1884-1946) whose colorful, humorous stories of the Prohibition era were adapted into the hit musical Guys and Dolls. Uncommon TLS, one page, 8.5 x 11, June 24, 1935. Letter to David B. Hart, in full: "Your letter of a year ago, addressed to me care of The Minnesota Tribune, was included in a portfolio of mail that was lost on a train, and has just come to light. Herewith the autograph you requested." In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope.
