Description

Uncommon DS, two pages, 8.5 x 11, William Morris Agency letterhead, January 21, 1960. A standard artist’s management contract between Sam Cooke and the William Morris Agency confirming their partnership for the span of one year, with Cooke set to be paid a minimum fee of $500 for concerts and appearances and Morris taking the standard 10 percent. Signed at the bottom in blue ballpoint by Cooke. In fine condition. Accompanied by a full-length photo of Cooke seated and smiling on a stool and an RCA 45 RPM record for the single 'Wonderful World / Everybody Loves to Cha Cha Cha.'
