"Overburdened with work," Einstein declines an invitation from a B'nai B'rith lodge

TLS in German, signed “A. Einstein,” one page, 8.5 x 11, February 4, 1934. Letter to the Pisgah Lodge B'nai B'rith in Detroit, in full (translated): "To my great regret I cannot comply with your kind request due to being overburdened with work." In fine condition, with light fading, show-through from mounting remnants at the top corners, and faint toning from prior display. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from JSA.
