Montgolfier,” one page both sides, 7.5 x 9.25, July 16, 1800. Untranslated handwritten letter about a factory opening in their famous city, Annonay, in 1800. Montgolfier gives densely penned scientific explanations about the power produced by vapor energy, and about the economic and commercial value of this initiative. In fine condition, with seal-related paper loss to the integral address leaf.
