Original satin-finish 8 x 10 photo of Mapplethorpe's famous 'torso' model Charles, taken by Robert Mapplethorpe during the iconic 'Charles Torso 1985' sessions, showing the shirtless model in a serious pose. In fine to very fine condition, with a couple small surface spots near his head. Consignor notes that this originates from the personal collection of Charles, and was given to Charles by Mapplethorpe at his 23rd Street studio between 5th and 6th Avenues in 1985.
