Includes nine (9) limited edition prints signed in felt tip or pencil by Stokes, with each measuring 16 x 11.5 and one measuring 26 x 22, which includes the following titles: ‘Gotcha’ (2223/5750); ‘A Pair of Aces’ (3205/4750); ‘Bridge Busting Jugs’ (2526/4750); ‘Yamamoto’s Last Flight’ (2704/4750); ‘Jaws of the Dragon’ (2234/4750); ‘Nine-O-Nine’ (2844/4750); ‘Slashed by a Sabre’ (2498/4750); ‘Second Wave to Baghdad’ (2247/4750); and ‘Pacific Dolls, 497th Bomb Group - Texas Doll,’ (398/950), which is also signed by the full crew of Bill Anderson, Ed Cutler, Jack Bisany, Stan Erickson, and Don Julin. The lone Dietz print, 27.25 x 20, entitled ‘Into the Shadow,’ depicts the crew of an M-4A1 Sherman of the 3rd BN, 1st Armored Division in the town of Albano, Italy in May 1944. Rolled and in overall fine condition. The 'Pacific Dolls' print is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
