Roger Chafee's silver-colored Apollo 1 Fliteline medallion, measuring 1.25″ diameter, commemorating the Apollo 1 mission. The front features a raised design of the mission insignia and the reverse boasts the last names of astronauts Gus Grissom, Ed White, and Roger Chaffee as well as "Apollo 1." Condition is mint state, with light overall tarnishing. Includes the original Fliteline case. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity signed by Chaffee's widow, Martha Chafee, in full: "I certify that the Apollo 1 silver-colored Fliteline Medallion that accompanies this letter is from the personal collection of my late husband Roger Chaffee."
