First edition Apollo 13 Earth Orbit Chart, 41.5 x 13.5, prepared for NASA under the direction of the Department of Defense by the Aeronautical Chart and Information Center, dated March 3, 1970, signed in blue felt tip, "Fred Haise, Apollo 13 LMP." The chart outlines the first two orbits around the Earth by the Apollo 13 spacecraft, and is labeled in the lower right, "Apollo Earth Orbit Chart (AEO), Apollo Mission 13, For April 1970 Launch Date." Stamped "Splashdown" at their eventual landing site near the Samoa Islands, and bears an affixed 'First Man on the Moon' stamp canceled at Houston, Texas, on the recovery date of April 17, 1970. Folded and in fine condition.
