Manual produced by the McDonnell Aircraft Corporation entitled “NASA Project Gemini Familiarization Manual for Spacecraft #1," identified as report “SEDR 300” with serial number “222,” dated July 18, 1963. The manual, approximately 65 pages, 8.75 x 11, contains six sections: Spacecraft Mission, Major Structural Assemblies, Cabin Interior Arrangement, Environmental Control System, Cooling System, and Instrumentation and Communication System. The foreword, in part: “The purpose of this manual is to present, clearly and concisely, the description and operation of the Gemini spacecraft systems and major components as installed in spacecraft number one…The manual is sectionalized by spacecraft systems or major assemblies. Generally, each section contains a system index illustration and a detailed word description of the system, its operation and its major components.” In fine condition.
