Wally Schirra's flown gold-plated Gemini 6 Fliteline medallion, approximately 1″ diameter, with a raised design of the 'Castor and Pollux' mission insignia on the front, and the reverse engraved: "GT-GT-6, December 15-16, 1965." Condition is mint state. Accompanied by two signed letters of provenance from Schirra’s son. A sought-after flown Gemini medallion carried into geocentric orbit with Wally Schirra, the mission's command pilot, on his second spaceflight, with this example all the more desirable given that only 10 of the purported 100 Fliteline medals that flew on the Gemini 6 mission were of this golden variety.
