Letter to Mr. Riloff, in part: "I had the material which you were kind enough to send me examined by specialists in the field of historical documents to determine their authenticity. It was their opinion that all of the documents were forgeries or not authentic except: 1. The autographs of Admiral J. B. Coglan, T. Estrada Palma, Prince Louis of Batternberg; 2. The letter dated November 6, 1908 to F. E. Marshall from Charles E. Hughes; 3. The cards signed by Senator David B. Hill, Japanese Ambassador Takahira, and Theodore Roosevelt's autograph." In very good condition, with overall creasing, a tear to the top edge, and the recipient's name and address crossed out.
