Superb DS, one page, 8.5 x 11, March 15, 1955. Contract between Roger Corman, doing business as Palo Alto Productions, and Forrest J. Ackerman with the Science Fiction Agency, regarding the employment of special effects artist Paul Blaisdell, who will be required to create models of "One MONSTER," "One operable SPACE SHIP," and "One CRATER." Signed at the conclusion by Corman and Ackerman, and countersigned below by Blaisdell and by Ackerman's wife Wendayne as a witness. Corman, Ackerman, and Blaisdell add their initials in the right margin. In fine condition. A terrific assemblage of notable cinema and science-fiction heavyweights connected to the 1956 science-fiction film It Conquered the World. After Blaisdell created the movie's horrifically campy vegetable-like space creature, he was also tasked with its performance, donning the suit and wheeling about until its dramatic blowtorch demise.
